The Wisconsin IceCube Particle Astrophysics Center (WIPAC) is pleased to host the IceCube Collaboration 2019 spring meeting.  The meeting begins today, April 30, and runs through May 4.

The spring meeting will be attended by around 220 members of the international IceCube community, who will be discussing the present and future of neutrino astronomy at the South Pole. Featuring talks from physicists and engineers, the most recent IceCube research results as well as the status of and future improvements to the detector’s maintenance and operations will be presented. Scheduled plenary sessions will also extensively cover plans for the IceCube Upgrade.

IceCube spokesperson Darren Grant has just been reelected for a second term, which begins with this collaboration meeting.  UW–Madison’s vice chancellor for research and graduate education will be visiting to welcome IceCube’s collaborators to Madison.
